Kadence International appreciates how hard employees work and recognizes the importance of providing time for rest and relaxation. Kadence International fully encourages employees to get this

rest by taking time off. We have a generous Personal Time Off (PTO) program, covering vacation and personal days, and we encourage employees to use them.


BIPO is our platform for leave management. Submit, track, and manage leave requests. Easily navigate the process of leave requests, including submitting new ones, editing existing ones, etc. Our platform also keeps a comprehensive audit trail of all leaves taken, so you can quickly check your leave status anytime.

How to request time off

  • Request your time off in BIPO.

  • After BIPO approval, inform your team members

  • Create an Out of office on your Calendar

  • A day or two before your OOO, notify all parties in Slack #out-of-office



Notes

  • Please make sure you coordinate detailed handover notes on projects, proposals, reports that you're working on so that your colleagues know what's due, when, and what they need to pick up during your absence.

  • Please add only the relevant colleague to your out-of-office message. E.g. if you're a PM it should be another PM, colleague. Please refrain from adding your line manager in OOO message unless they are indeed the one picking up your emails while you're away. Having said that in some cases the line manager might be most suitable, but please coordinate internally first to make sure.

  • The out-of-office message should include details of the dates that you're away and the exact day that you return, the name and email of the person that will be picking things up in your absence. Example below.


Thank you for your email

I’ll be out of the office August 16-22, returning on August 23rd. For any assistance or urgent matters while I’m away, please contact [Insert colleague’s name] at [insert colleague’s email].

Otherwise, I’ll respond to your email as soon as possible after my return.
